in 3 easy steps

Step 1:

Spray the Solution

The photograph to the right shows a typical oil spill on the soil at a wellhead. The area is approximately 30 ft x 80 ft. R3OG for Soil is mixed at a ratio of 2 parts water to 1 part R3OG. A typical trash pump is connected to the R3OG container, and the product is sprayed liberally on the oil-covered soil.

Step 2:

Till the Soil

The photograph to the left shows the impacted area after R3OG has been applied.

R3OG for Soil is tilled into the soil using a common gasoline-powered root-tiller. The objective of this step is to incorporate the R3OG product into the soil.

A second and third pass is made with the tiller. The objective of these steps is to aerate the soil, thus exposing the R3OG product to oxygen in the air, and maximizing the redox reaction.

The time elapsed from the initial application, through tilling, to the final result is approximately 5 hours.

The Science Behind the

R3OG Formula

R3OG is a specifically blended silicate-based liquid that will reduce hydrocarbons upon contact when applied to impacted soils, surfaces and groundwater. R3OG has been successfully used in the “catalvtic conversion” of organic environmental contaminants with minimal effort and application techniques.

The “catalytic conversion” takes place through a high-energy redox reaction. R3OG is a blend of environmentally friendly compounds, which display no hazardous waste characteristics either by ignitability, corrosivity, or reactivity. The compound that forms is an organo-silicate residue with the consistency and makeup of sand. Treated soils are rendered more amenable to reclamation.

R3OG is

Environmentally Safe

R3OG is not altered chemically and will not form harmful intermediates when blended with hazardous chemicals. R3OG conforms to “non-hazardous substances” defined under the Clean Water Act, RCRA, the Clean Air Act, and TSCA. It is not a carcinogen and is not listed on OSHA, ARC, or NTP Monograms. It also passes the 48-hour Acute Toxicity Bioassay at 12.5% concentration for both Fathead Minnow and Daphnia Pulex. When applied to impacted soil, a minimal reaction time renders the contaminant irreversibly altered and the contaminant, if hazardous, no longer possesses its chemical fingerprint. R3OG is particularly unique in that it renders the residue environmentally safe. On ground or water, R3OG does the job quickly and efficiently and eliminates the need for costly soil removal and/or replacement.
